Q: Recovery Partition Gone???????

I got the brand new Macbook Pro 13" two days ago. i decided to put Ubuntu on it and when it told me chose a partition to install Ubuntu i accidently clicked the wrong one.....anyways after restarting i noticed the Recovery Partition was gone. i want to get it back without re-install. any help will be greatly appreciated. Operating system is Mac OS X 10.7.4

Sorry, Charlie, but the only way to get back the Recovery HD is to repartition the drive and reinstall Lion from scratch via Internet Recovery.

Using Lion Recovery when no DHCP service is available

If you made a backup then you could recovery from your backup provided you: a. used Time Machine; b. used Disk Utility to clone your system; c. used Carbon Copy Cloner to clone the system and recovery partitions.

You can't.

Since it's a new machine, force eject the Ubuntu disk (reboot holding the trackpad, mouse button down, or the opiton key and when you see the bootable optios, press the eject key.

Take it to the Apple Store and have them fix it.

Dont' install Linux on a Mac unless your a real computer geek and know what your doing.

I've installed Linux on other machines. just this time i wasnt paying attention and made a dumb mistake. Back to apple it is then.
