I am a apple dev, only for a couple of weeks, and my girlfriend broke my iPod that I test my apps on!! It has a broken screen(that's all) but I really want it fixed.
First: how much will it cost for amreplacement screen on a 4th Gen iPod Touch (8gig, white)
Second: will I get a discount at all? The iPod IS still in warranty!!
Apple will exchange your 8 GB iPod for a refurbished one for $99. They do not repair yours.
I am not way of any discount.
A broken screen is not covered by the warranty since the warranty covers defects, not accidental damage.
As lllaass said, Apple does not repair iPods, but will replace the entire iPod for a flat fee; see the Repair Pricing section here:

There are no discounts on out-of-warranty exchanges for anyone.
There are independent iPod repair services that may be able to replace the screen for less. Do a web search for "ipod repair". Note, though, that if you elect to have the iPod serviced by an unauthorized shop, all further warranty will be void.
