Q: new nanno 6th gen confugured to windows not working

i got a 6th gen nanno. downloaded ituneson my pc, connected my nano and it says i got to configure it to windows. i do this, now the nanno now will not go back when swiped to right, is unresponsive and VERY slow and i have to double tap to acess anything what did i do wrong?
