Can I Print from ipad2 to HP Photosmart c4780? Is there an app to do this?
Not directly. To print directly to a printer from an iDevice the printer must have AirPint cababilities and I couldn't find the c4780 in any of the lists on HP's web site.
There are a couple of apps that you can buy for your iPad that will let you print over regular Wifi like PrintCentral and Print Bureau.

The C4780 aio does have eprint capabilities through HP eprint as well, in case you want more options.
The application is free on the Apple app catalogue just as an fyi.
