How long does it take to restore ipod shuffle, its been restoring for the last 30 mins?!

It should take just a few minutes...
At some point, you'll have to stop the current process. Try it again, after shutting down (powering off) your computer. Use this procedure to reset the iPod shuffle

Start up computer, with shuffle NOT connected. Before doing anything else, run iTunes. Connect shuffle. Try it doing a Restore again.
