2012 macbook pro 13 inch 16 GB RAM

I currently have a 13 inch mac pro 2009 with 8GB RAM and want to get a new one. I want more ram than 8GB and really want the 13 inch. Is there a way to get 16 GB ram?

MacBook, Mac OS X (10.7), 8 gig RAM, 250 G hard drive

The 13 inch does support 16 gigs of ram, but apple says it doesn't. I did it on mine, its fully working.

Since you installed the 16 gigs of ram how is the computer running, Have you encounter any problems? How is the heat production running on 16 gigs?

I too have a Mid 2012 MBP 13'' and was looking to upgrade...

Thanks in advance

I have received a huge boost, because i have the power to run many things at the same time, but not enough ram. Since i upgraded it, i can play minecraft, use screenflow to capture it, leave chrome open, and talk on skype. I used Cordair Vengence ram, you could buy one 8gig for $70, or you could buy 2 8gig for $120. Here's a link to it on amazon.
