IF iPad has been sitting unused for over a year... how do I get it to charge the battery?
Unused Ipad has been sitting around a long time without being plugged in... when I plug it in nothing happens... help!

Give it time. Half an hour at least. If your battery is totally flat it has to build up some charge before it'll even chirp at you.
Plug it in over night and see what happens. If it's still dead then, you can try a different charger to make sure that's not bad. If that doesn't work, then it may be dead, Jim 😉
