I purchased this app yesterday thinking it would be the premier photo app considering it's apple and the price.
But it will not allow me to delete edited photos even if I delete the photo from my photo library.
Why?
To delete the edited version of a photo in iPhoto for iOS go to the Edited album, select the photo and the select Revert. Look in the Gear icon for Revert. This will remove the edits and the edited version will disappear.
Thanks for the help but the problem I have is that it won't even let me do that. The bottom row of icons grey out.
Also there are times when the photo won't display when I select the edited version.
Something is muck up then in your iPhoto for iOS. Sometimes quitting an app help so try this:
Go to the Home screen and double click the Home button. That will reveal the row of recently used apps at the bottom of the screen. Tap and hold on iPhoto for iOS until it wiggles and displays a minus sign. Tap the minus sign to actually quit the app. Then tap anywhere on the screen above that bottom row to return the screen to normal. Then restart the app and see if it works normally.
Another thing that often helps is to reboot your iPad. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously ignoring the red slider until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the iPad restart.
