Itunes sync

Help! I've had an ipad for 2 yrs which was registered on my HP Desk top. My HP crashed and everything had to be installed again. All works fine but I can't figure out how to sync music that is on my HP to my IPad. Apple confirmed that I'm registered and my user name and password work but when I access IPad or ITune from the dropdown windows, it takes me to the Apple store and I can't find the column that actually lets me sync. Any help would be apprecaited.
