My charger blew up!!!

Hello, Last night I connected my iPhone to charger 2 hours later it blew up, there was a loud bang and a flash and the plug blew into 2 parts right next to where my son was sleeping.

Obviously I was furious, so today iv been on the phone to apple, and sent them the pictures.

I was asked for my chargers serial number, it didn't have one, he carries don the incestigation and it came back the charger wasn't an original apple product.

How can it not be original when it came boxed brand new wih my phone? I have asked 13 people

All of them haven't got a serial number on their chargers?

I want your opinion on what I should do about this?
