Have slow connection, sometimes lose connection for several seconds, have spinning wheel when trying to download a movie.
Mac Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.8)
My first guess would be to diagnose (or replace) your router, or possibly get a faster connection. (but most likely the router)
Try these:
First let's do the router restart.
If that doesn't help, proceed to this:
Click on your wireless icon, then go to open network preferences, from there, click on advance, once there, click on the TCP/IP section then click on Renew DHCP Lease.
See if the above works before we go further.
