The Radeon HD 6750M (1GB) from the 2011 macbook pros or the nVidia Geforce GT 650m (1GB) in the current refresh?
Depends what you're going to use it for.
The Nvidia Geforce GT650M will be a faster graphic card.
But the Radeon will have a better video quality.
The way graphic cards are built now however, it's hard to find the difference in video quality since they're all pretty fast.
Sorry I should of clarified. For gaming preformance.
Go with the NVidia for gaming purposes for faster performance.
I however, prefer the Radeon.
Thanks for your response. Just wondering, how much faster would you consider the nvidia for gaming? My brother has the high end 2011 macbook pro and I know even that graphics card can be sluggish if you max our settings.
You'll probably get a 20% to 30% speed difference if you're playing it at normal resolution.
Once you get into higher resolution however, the speed of the Nvidia will probably be around 10% since ATI tend to perform better when the resolution gets higher.
In any event, they're both fast but the Nvidia just have a slight edge.
Got my macbook pro retina today and I'm very impressed with the graphics preformance I'm getting. 40 FPS in starcraft 2 at native resolution (retina), and extreme settings. 🙂

Yes I did.
Went for the 2.7GHz with 16GB and the larger Flash Drive.
Not sure if I need it but will play with it for a while.
Already have someone interested in buying it off me if i'm not happy with it.
