Unusual behaviour in Solo Mode

I found this earlier on today:

Selected a region, hit S to solo it, positioned the SPL just prior to the region, hit Spacebar, and playback jumped to a different part of the song with Cycle Mode switched on. Every time I switched Cycle Mode off then carried out the same steps, the same thing happened.

Having said that, I just tried to recreate it and couldn't..

Anyone else noticed this?

Quad 6.5Gb ram, Mac OS X (10.4.5), PB 1.25Ghz 1.5Gb Ram, Logic 7.2

Just been trying to recreate it again, and can't.

I'm positive I didn't click the bar ruler too high to set off Cycle Mode, and I'm fairly sure I didn't catch the C key with my finger when hitting the Space Bar.

It happens sometimes when you select tracks to listen solo...
Cycle select the bars that you want to listen solo,
or just press the key you have assigned for Cycle mode to cancel it...

you should be ok then

if something bad happens and its not happening again try not to force it so it can happen again 🙂

be glad it disappeared that easily

Don't know if I explained it very well, but what I meant was that Cycle Mode switched itself on. Not me. So I'd press play and expect playback from where the SPL was (just prior to the region I'd solo'd) but it would actually switch Cycle Mode on and jump to there instead... Anyway, it's not doing it now, and that's a good thing!

(Must start drinking earlier in the day, maybe it wouldn't matter then...) :o)

this happens sometimes when i press the enter key at the numeric key pad to start from my last play position..sometimes it skips back or wherever to a cycle which i haven't selected before..
I know where my last play pstn was so i'm suprised to see the SPL going to a bar that i don't want to and in Cycle mode.
