I'm a 1st time user of logic and I've just bought one from the i-store and now i have a problem with installing the software because it says the serial number is invalid. can someone please help.
Logic Studio, Mac OS X (10.7.3)
Delete the Logic Pro application and re-download it from the Mac App Store.

thanx for your reply, but the challenge is I've never installed logic before and I purchased the box from the istore, so its not downloaded.

OK, i've never heard of the 'i-store', so I assumed you bought it from the Mac App Store.
If you bought the box, please check that you typed the serial number correctly. No Zero (0) for an Oh (O), no One for an I or L, etc.

I have been trying it since morning making sure that I didnt do those mistakes, I even called the technical support and they couldnt help much about the problem.

Pro Application Replacement Serial Numbers have to be requested from Apple Sales Support: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1861
