empty map

i lost my iphone and bought an other telephone, the only thing is that all my pics where on my iphone. I work with a windows pc and installed iCloud control panel. When i try to recieve the pics with photostream to my pc, the maps remain empty.
Does anyone know how to solve this, so i'll get my pics back?
