"and features may vary by area".

This does not state a date.

And the Locational bit is very generic about what it says it can do.

So while yes this was a UK page, doesn't state anything of the sort about Autumn.  you must have heard that elsewhere.  Doubt this is by Apple tho, as they are the world's worst at telling you "what's to come... and when".

Whatever... Believe what you want... I really don't care. But I'll be happily using Siri in the UK this Autumn just as Apple have announced when they announced iOS 6. You use Google to find it if you want confirmation.

Ok I think I have put 2 and 2 together.  Their homepage says ios6 is coming this fall, and then on Siri it says things are coming to the UK for that version.

So I think I got it!  Thank heavens.

You caught us... we're just trying to trick you.  It's not coming to the UK, ever.

It really wasn't that complicated. If putting 2 and 2 together took so long, try 1 and 1 next time you have difficulties understanding...

Well, it looks promising that Siri will be fully functioning in the UK this year; but as stated above there's a little star next to the features. If you follow that it says.. *Siri will be available only on iPhone 4S and iPad (3rd generation) and requires Internet access. Siri may not be available in all languages or in all areas, and features may vary by area.

I think you'll find that will cover Apple if things don't play out the way we want them too. So until it's actually up and working, there is no guarantee to what features will actually work in the UK. There's absolutely no promises here. We all thought Siri would be here on launch, it wasn't.
