I'm using my MacPro and using Remote Desktop to use my old Mac Desktop (Mirror Drive Door).
Works great, but the window is tiny.
I'm running an Apple 30" Cinema and would like it larger to make it easier to use.
How can I fake out the old Mac to think it has a larger display on it?
Mac OS X (10.7.3), 14 gig RAM- 30" Cinema Display
Still looking for an answer. Any ideas?
I think the pins 'tell' the Mac what monitor is connected.
Is there a chart for that someplace?
HEY, i still run a mdd too! ... love all the space for hdd's.
a. did you try hitting the 'full screen' button?
b. resolution: set the host higher or the client lower.
Yeah, I recall full screen didn't help (I'll double check)
I can't get the resolution on the MDD higher, that's what I want to do.
Full Screen just makes a the same small size with grey around the outside.
I can't adjust the MDD resolution to over 1024x768.
This is what I want to make larger, but there are no larger options!
