Jul 29, 2012 4:48 PM in response to Wes Randby mixdoctor,Hey Wes,
Start with the class 3 certs. Open Keychain then certificates search class 3. Open each one up to make sure they have system default in each cert. If not change as prescribed above.

Jul 29, 2012 4:54 PM in response to Julie Stahlhutby mixdoctor,Yeah, this was not logical as an OS level issue at all. What a mess for people if half a genius makes you do a clean install or partion the drive to do another OS install. Glad this worked. Pass it on!

Jul 31, 2012 6:46 AM in response to mixdoctorby Lorenz864,I want to say Thank you to mixdoctor. I couldn't sign in to App Store anymore and spent hours looking for posts and tried so many things... I had lost my hopes....
Then the last chance....
I did exactly what mixdoctor said "On the one the says always trust (G5) go in and change just ssl cert to no value than close it will ask for for password to save. once you do that reopen and change to use system default and save. It will ask for password again and try it".
And IT REALLY DID WORK! WOW!!
Thank you so much - now I can download M.LION.

Dec 17, 2012 1:24 PM in response to mixdoctorby Pogue Mahone,This worked for me too. Had to change one Verisign certificate.
Incidentally, Chrome was telling me it didn't recognise the security certificates for the Apple site, untrusted et so this might be a clue.

Oct 29, 2013 12:41 PM in response to Pierre Bédatby Wolf Starker,I had the same problem.
It was caused by "Little Snitch".
There was a rule that didn't allow any connection to app store. So I simply changed the rule and it worked immediately.
If you've "Little Snitch" installed on your machine, look at your connection rules.

Nov 2, 2013 9:23 AM in response to Wolf Starkerby AsalSb ,Can you plz explain a little more coz I'm facing the same issue?
-
Nov 4, 2013 12:50 AM in response to AsalSbby Wolf Starker,Don't get me wrong. You don't need Little Snitch* to solve your connection problem.
But if you have it installed, check your connection rules for the app store.
Maybe there is a rule that doesn't allow the connection.
*Little Snitch is a software that allows you to intercept unwanted connection attempts, and lets you decide how to proceed.
