My 4th generation ipod touch wont turn on i already tried restarting it waiting until the apple log comes up but it wont please help i dont know what to do ?

My ipod touch wont turn on whatsover. I opened an app and then all of a sudden my ipod touch just went blank. So I tried to turn it back on and it doesnt want to anymore. I already tried and restart it by pressing the home button and the power on button but the apple logo does not appear.😕 Can I go to an apple store and see if they can either replace it or repair it. I still have the one year warranty that comes with the ipod it is not damage and i didnt drop it if that has an affect please it is the only apple product i have and i cant live without. Thank You🙂
