I enter something in the search field under the Help menu in the Finder and it just sits there saying "searching...".
For instance, I want info on using Spaces. I type "Spaces in the search box and it just sits there as above.
Any suggestions?
Addendum: In fact, the Help file is missing from my System-Library folder. How do I restore it?
If I open Help fro the finder menu and type in "spaces" it doesn't work for me either. This kind of help comes from apple's servers, not from a file on your system. I don't even know what you are talking about with respect to a help file in /System/Library.
