Will Apple replace my faulty iPod Touch for free?

I bought my iPod 4 months ago but now its having screen issues for no reason :/

its shaky whenever i try to scroll or pinch to zoom in and i tried restoring and resetting but it doesn't help. The problem goes away and comes back ! Also when I touch one part of the screen, it hits something on the other side. How do I send my iPod to apple for replacement? I don't have a store near me, also if they say everything is okay then would they charge me a fee for wasting their time? Thank you!

iPod touch, iOS 5.1.1

The warranty is one year, so if you got it four months ago it will be free. Appointments are also free so there will be absolutely no fees whatsoever.

Thank you but how do i send my ipod to them? i dont have an apple store near me. And i got my ipod from amazon so will it have a warranty?

Regardless of where it is purchased (assuming it's an authorized reseller which Amazon is, or if it is an individual then they would have purchased it from an authorized reseller), it has Apple's one-year warranty. Not sure on shipping details. Call AppleCare: 1-800-APL-CARE (if you're in U.S.).

You're OK. Amazon is an authorized iPod reseller.

Call Apple. 800-275-2273 in the U.S.A. and I think Canada.

Ok thanks again 😀 one more question, would they replace it for me for free if im a minor? I'm only 15 yrs old. Would I need an adult to ship it to them to replace it for me?

No, that does not matter. Warranty is no different whether you are a minor or adult.

Iv had my iPod touch 4g for two months now, the wifi won't detect any networks it keeps freezing an turning its self off an the battery only lasts a few hours.... What are the chances of apple replacing it? Or do I just attempt to sell it? Any help would be great, thanks
