Q: Will a prepaid mobile broadband usb stick work with an Ipad?

Hi, I live in Australia. I am hoping to buy an Ipad soon. The question is, will I be able to use the Telstra  usb 4G prepaid mobile broadband stick that I have to connect to the internet on an Ipad with 3G capabilities?
