Force Show Desktop
Some applications don't respond to minimisation shortcuts. Is there any possible way to show desktop (or force show desktop) without actually quitting the application?

depending on how your preferences are set up and which key board your using will affect the keyboard command:
system preferences > Apple menu > Expose&Spaces > show desktop
change the entry in the drop down menu to something relevant and work with your keyboard (Iv set it for F19)
