How Do I Set Mail To Check Yahoo Mail Spam Folder?

Hi All,

Hopefully this can be answered!

Is there any way that Mail can be set up to check Yahoo Mail's Spam folder when retrieving emails form the Inbox?

I have set my 8 year old daughter an email address up in yahoo. She keeps missing one of her friends emails as it keeps being filtered into Spam.

Many Thanks in Advance,

Chris

If it's a POP account, just disable spam filtering at the site and use Mail's Junk filtering, or you will have to go to the website and show it as not spam. You can also create contacts at the website and add that person to the contacts list there and it should stop that address from showing as spam. And, you can also choose to forward Spam messages along with messages.

If it's set up as IMAP, then the Spam mailbox should appear under the IMAP account name in the sidebar. You can also map it to the Mail's Junk mailbox by selecting it, and choose this mailbox for: Junk under the Mailbox submenu.
