Hulu app and airplay

I just bought an apple tv version 3, I guess (brand new), and am trying to figure everything out. I have the hulu plus app on my ipad 2, iphone 4 and iphone 4S. I can see video and hear audio when I use Hulu plus with airplay with my ipad 2 but can only hear audio with my iphone 4 and iphone 4S, no video. Is this a function of the tv show (copyright issue that I've read a little about on here), Hulu, ATV or the iphone 4 or 4S? If anyone can help I would surely appreciate it!! Thanks all in advance!

Hulu have not enabled that functionality on the app, likely due to copyright.

I was wondering if it was that but it seemed like it wouldn't since video and audio worked fine on the ipad 2 but doesn't on the iphone 4 or 4S. Why would copyright be 'violated' by one device and not the other? Thank you for the response!

If anyone else has any other details or can tell me if I am doing something wrong, that would be great too!

Hulu does not work via airplay video on any device, unless they've suddenly enabled it. I believe it does work with mirroring though so you can try that or access airplay by double tapping the home button and swiping (left to right motion)

I believe that the last update has enabled airplay. I know for certain it works with the ipad 2. iPhones are a different story, at least for me. Thanks

Airplay mirroring, I didn't see anything about regular airplay. So that would require the 4S, if you have both as you say I would try the mirroring on that one again.
