Frozen iPod

Frozen iPod

My iPod has frozen and I can't slide to unlock to get back to the Homepage or to power off. Any idea how to unlock it please? x

iPod touch (3rd generation)

- Try here:

iOS: Not responding or does not turn on

- If not successful then let the battery fully drain. After charging for at least an hour try again.

- If still not successful time for an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store.

Try a reset:
Hold the home and power buttons at the same time until the Apple boot logo appears. No data will be lost.

Thanks stevejobsfan0123. I've done that and the apple logo came and went. Still frozen! I'm going to let the battery drain and recharge. If that fails, it'll have to be a trip to the Genius bar! Thanks for the advice. 😕
