SDXC cards on Mac OS X version 10.5.8 can they be used

Can SDXC cards be used to transfer picture from onto the snow leopard 10.5.8 mini mac?

Mac mini, Mac OS X (10.5.8)

It's not the card that is the issue, it's whether or not the card reader you put it in is. Though just about any USB 2 reader you get that supports SDXC cards should work.

Thanks Kurt I will connect camera to mini mac via USB and see if that works.

Just for clarity's sake, Mac OS X 10.5.8 is Leopard, not Snow Leopard. Snow Leopard is Mac OS X 10.6.x. It's often important, and features and capabilities differ between the two operating system versions.
