At a guess the problem is that it's slow upgrading. We can only guess as you don't tell us anything else.

There are 9 different versions of iPhoto and they run on seven different versions of the Operating System. The tricks and tips for dealing with issues vary from version to version and OS to OS. So before anyone can help, they need information to work with. Basic stuff:

- What version of iPhoto.

- What version of the Operating System.

- Details. What were you doing when the problem arose?

- Did it ever work properly?

- Are there error messages?

- What steps have you tried already to solve the issue.

Anything else you can think of that might allow someone else to understand your issue.

With this kind of information somebody can develop a starting point for troubleshooting the issue.

Hi, I think I'm having the same problem.

Trying to upgrade iPhoto 9.3 on my MacBook

Running on OS X 10.7.4

The upgrade just hangs when it gets to 98% of Step 5 of 9

Was working just fine before this upgrade

I've left the upgrade running overnight and it doesnt seem to progress

It seems to be very busy doing nothing as it's using 90%+ of the processor

No error messages

Any suggestions would be ver welcome

Thanks
