My iPhone won't turn on.

iPhone won't turn on. When I connect it to my charger it turns on, comes to a screen saying iPhone, then says connect to itunes. When I connect it to my computer it shows the screen with the apple for a few seconds and then goes black, then back to the screen with the white apple over and over again. Please help me!
