Q: Will this change/affect my wireless network?

I just installed a new 512G SSD drive in my MacBook Pro (283G is currently in use).  My TC is 500G and states it doesn't have enough room to complete a back-up. So I need to erase it then preform a fresh back-up.  Will erasing it affect my wireless network or its settings?

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.8)

    Hi

No the erasure of the hard disk has no effect on the wireless aspect.

But if the TC is gen 1 or gen 2 I would seriously consider replacement.. as they are now into the unreliable stage of operation.. ie more than 2years old. The smallest hard disk in a new one is 2TB and much better suited to your giant SSD.
