How do I verify or check my inbox on my apple ?

If your e-mail account is set up correctly, the Mail icon should notify you of new messages with a little red dot over it and the numbwr of messages. iIf you have iOS5, you also see new mails in the message center.
If you go to Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Fetch New Data you can set intervals or enable push messaging so you get notified whenever a new mail comes in.
