Rogue Charges

I have recently looked at my bank statements and found these:

23 Apr 12 GlobalCollect - Apple NZSYDNEY $22.55

01 Jun 12 GlobalCollect - Apple NZSYDNEY $35.56

I do not know what they are for as i only buy music, movies and apps from iTunes and they show up on my statements as APPLE ITUNESNZWEB.

I was wondering if anyone else has found they have these charges and what they are for.

I appreciate your help.

This is happening to me now.

I haven't purchased anything in the apple store.

Including Itunes/Movies/Songs/Games ect.

Yet its still coming up on my account and taking money out.

Is this a mistake that apple is making?

Or is it fraud, and someone is hacking in and taking my money out?

In the last two weeks It has taken out $100 so far and I know for certain that I haven't spent that much on Itunes.

Please help.

I'm also seeing GLOBALCOLLECT - APPLE SYDNEY NSW on my credit card statement despite having made no purchases via iPad, iPod, iPhone, Apple TV or Mac!

I'm in Auckland NZ and can't understand what the charges are for. In the last 3 days alone: $12.57, $4.19, $12.57, all very odd amounts and no purchases made for games, apps or movies. Can someone from Apple confirm if this billing ID is real or a fake?

I receive these charges from Apple also. Also appears as: GLOBALCOLLECT - APPLE SYDNEY NSW

In my case the charges are for:

- Movies I rent from my Apple Tv - they're usally around $7.99

- iTunes Match Subscription: $39.99

- Apps and Music that I purchase

- Other subscriptions.

You can check your Apple account charges in iTunes by going Store > View Account > Purchase History > See All.

You should also see have many devices are using your account by going to Store > View Account >Manage Devices.

Hope this helps.

This is not a fraudulent charge. This is a payment system used by a number of sellers to charge for their services. Website here: http://www.globalcollect.com/

I found a charge on my card showing the same for NZ$6.49. Then I logged in to iTunes, looked at Purchase History under Account Information and realised I had bought a call pack for Viber that I had completely forgotten about.

My advice is to log in to iTunes, look through all purchases, and identify the charges - as those will contain much more detail as to what the purchase was about.

Hope that helps.

I've this problem and I've send through enquiry to Apple and now awaiting reply from Apple. It happen last year quite often in Dec 2014 but I blamed my kids. I then cancelled my credit card and ordered a new card, I got the new card on the first week of Jan 2015 and I just had two transactions through 'GlobalCollect - Apple Sydney NSW'. I've spoke with the bank twice but they couldn't track it. When I looked at my Apple ID account on iTunes, my old credit card details is still there so I can't really blame it on Apple. I haven't had my new credit card for a month. It could be an automatic subscription through some apps or someone must have used my card or it could be a hacking activities or some kind of fraud.

When I looked at my purchased history through iTunes, every purchased has an order number even though it cost $00.00. For purchases that cost more than $0, I always get an email from Apple with an invoice but none from GlobalCollect. I hope someone will find out something. I'm gonna have to cancel my credit card again and I might stay away from credit card for a while. Hope this will help.

I have $260 worth of charges from this Global Collect in just 6 days. I have checked my iTunes account and no purchases made since December 2014. Like other posters, I also receive receipts from Apple when I purchase something and I have received nothing. I'm going to phone my bank and then post in here in the hope that we can all help each other get to the bottom of this.
