Jon, in case you're intention is to make standard mailing labels (since I know people use labels for many other uses), I want to clue you in to Apple's way of doing it - which doesn't include using Pages.

Apple intends users to use the Address Book to manage and print address labels - you create a group of addresses, then in the Print dialogue you can select the layout (Avery whatever, etc.).

People are so used to doing this in MS-Word's labels format that they assume it's the same with Pages.
