Q: Purchased iPad 2 Apps Not Appearing On App Store "Purchased" Tab

This is quite a major issue in the sense that ALL my previously purchased apps no longer show in the "purchased" tab on the App Store. This problem also applies to my phone. Someone else asked this question and got a really inane answer from someone who said "they will come back".... when? They should never have disappeared in the first place. I've had friends open their app store and it shows their previously purchased but no longer installed apps no problem. What am I missing here? Is it down to a setting as to why they are no longer showing? Something to do with iTunes or iCloud?

 

This issue is really starting to irk me because some apps I had deleted from my iPad I wanted to re download again. These apps were PAID for. I searched for these apps in the app store and it didn't say "Install" anymore like they usually do when i had paid for it before, it was asking me to pay.... AGAIN.

 

Since when has it been a case of when you pay, and delete you the pay again?

 

My purchased tab is empty. It doesn't show a single app. It says "All of your available apps have been downloaded to this device" same goes for my iPhone. This ins't the case AT ALL. I've got only a quarter of apps I paid for actaully installed on my devices.

 

Can anyone suggest what the issue may be? A resolution? Suggestion?

    Thanks for the offer but I found all my hidden apps suddenly reappeared on my iPad without doing anything.

    I already paid apps appear but do not I get free applications in the list of purchased

    This is the last email from Apple Support  I have received today at 14:38:

     

    Julian here. You are having issues with signing into your iTunes account on your iPad. I understand how this can interfere with your iTunes experience. I will me more than happy to assist you.

     

    George, after recent events Apple had to revamp its security features to ensure your information continues to be safe. During the restructuring of our security protocol some Customers were left without access to the iTunes store. For that, we humbly apologize for this inconvenience this has caused.

     

    We have however, made these changes to ensure that you are provided with the same level of service that you are familiar with and expect from Apple. As of now there is not a set date on when the changes will be completed. You will be notified when the changes are complete. Once again, I do apologize for the inconvenience this has caused.

    Dear All, I had the same issue.. but this happened when I changed the "Country" of by itunes account, which was originally India to US. I signed out of my account from store option in Settings and changed country back to India. Within seconds all my purchased applications reappeared in my iphone! Hope this will help!

    Actually, vvm, with all due respect,  it's not the same issue at all. What you experienced is a function of locale restrictions on the sale of items in iTunes. It's to be expected and isn't a malfunction at all. What the other users posting here experienced was an actual failure in iTunes, which Apple has resolved.

    first, dont worry

    just press the button with the price and press buy

    then it will tell you that you've already purchased it and will let you install without payment

    it happened to me too when i changed country in aplleid

    i still dont see apps under purchased tab but at least i dont have to pay once again

    Hi TiffWagg

     

    I experienced the same problem a couple of days ago.To solve it out have go to settings store and click on your account name and tap sign out then sign in again and check back on the App Store and your purchases should be on the purchased tab.

    Hope this solved your problem and tap this reply solved my problem.

    I am having this issue after the ios 6 update; on iphone 3GS, ipad2 and ipad3. I am not having this issue on ipad1 and itunes; i can see my purchases there. Of course i tried all the recommendations on the thread but with no luck. What is different in my case is i see the neverending "loading" word on the purchased tab. When i tap on the white page also doesn't open any app.

     

    I had also an experience like this when i first updated ios to 6 and opened the settings app> store. When i logged on to my account, i saw "itunes match" option, then tapped on it with a huge yuppee as itunes match was not offering in my region before, but then saw that option immediately dissappeared. Maybe this is causing the problem??

    I did not have this problem until I loaded IOS6!

     

    I know what I have, but the "Purchased" tab was useful to search for new apps with various options on how I wanted to search.

     

    Come on Apple, get on this issue!

     

    The "loading" white screen is extremely irritating

     

    Those of us bothered by this don't want some new- we want what we had when it worked.

    Not sure if this will help, but the @me.com address and your personal email address you may have set up your account with doesn't sync gracefully in Itunes. I had the same problem and I was logging in with my @me.com address and couldnt find any of my purchases. I realized when I logged in with my personal email address (the original one I set up my accout with) my purchases were made available.

    I had to re-enter the security code for the credit card I use for app purchases under Store/Account settings/Payment Information. All purchased apps now showing on ipad 2.

    I am having the same problem on several iPhones since I installed iOS. Recent purchases are only visible on an iPad.

     

    As reading through this thread I did following:

     

    - log out, log-in in App Store

    - re-entered credit card security code

     

    I know I switched App Stores once to get an update in the US App Store but now I am back in the Dutch App Store and see and can download all updates with no problem.

     

    Interesting: In settings/iTunes & App Stores I can not change my country code as I get a message: "You have a shop credit...."
