Q: Purchased iPad 2 Apps Not Appearing On App Store "Purchased" Tab

This is quite a major issue in the sense that ALL my previously purchased apps no longer show in the "purchased" tab on the App Store. This problem also applies to my phone. Someone else asked this question and got a really inane answer from someone who said "they will come back".... when? They should never have disappeared in the first place. I've had friends open their app store and it shows their previously purchased but no longer installed apps no problem. What am I missing here? Is it down to a setting as to why they are no longer showing? Something to do with iTunes or iCloud?

 

This issue is really starting to irk me because some apps I had deleted from my iPad I wanted to re download again. These apps were PAID for. I searched for these apps in the app store and it didn't say "Install" anymore like they usually do when i had paid for it before, it was asking me to pay.... AGAIN.

 

Since when has it been a case of when you pay, and delete you the pay again?

 

My purchased tab is empty. It doesn't show a single app. It says "All of your available apps have been downloaded to this device" same goes for my iPhone. This ins't the case AT ALL. I've got only a quarter of apps I paid for actaully installed on my devices.

 

Can anyone suggest what the issue may be? A resolution? Suggestion?

    Server issue with Apple it would appear. Read the other numerous threads posted on the subject.

    I discovered the same issue this morning. Just tried clicking on the blank page as described by Peaceful Hope and discovered the same thing! The app who's icon would have been in that spot popped up. All my app icons have disappeared. Strangely four out of a much larger number actually show up under the "not on this iPad tab".

    Same issue here. iPad 3. Tried every possible solution, restored few times either from iTunes or iCloud, nothing, then I even wrote to support. I will wait for their reply in 48 hours. Once, I decided to signed out of App Store early in the morning then signed back again and then discovered that all my purchases are gone, hidden too. Then while signed out I saw a long URL about the AppStore with long hash number. :(

    I've just spend 3 hours in the local Apple store with this problem on a brand new iPad.  I'm assuming it's rather random, as I was the only person in the store with that problem.. They replaced my iPad twice, only to have the same problem..  Logging in with one of their own personal accounts worked fine..

     

    Looks like I get to add my apps one at at ime

    Add me to the list. Everything was as it should be a few days ago. Returned to purchased tab tonight and get a blank screen. Tapping where the list of apps should be brings up the info page of whatever app should be listed wherever I've tapped. Definitely a bug......

    Ugh, I logged out because I was getting 'MZCommerce.CreditBalance Mismatch.Mobile_message', and now I can't log back in - I keep getting 'unknown error'..  Works fine on my iphone though!

    I hope it will be resolved soon enough, and not until the OS update to iOS6 this fall. :)

    Hello. Having exactly the same problem. After restarting the iPad, and verifying everything else, I can tell that my purchased apps aren't hidden. Funny thing though, if I tap on different spots in the "white" display of the purchased apps tab, every time a window with the app info and option button (Installed or the cloud & down arrow) appears for the app whose icon supposedly goes in the blank spot where I tapped on the "empty" display. Same thing happens with my wife's iPad and her purchased apps. At least I know the problem is Apple's online store system and not my iPad.

    Double check to make sure your payment method hasn't expired. It tends to show a blank page if your credit card expired or there was a issue with paying for something.

    This doesn't jive with what I'm seeing. My iPhone 4, iPad 2 & iPad 3 all use the same iTunes account on the same credit card. The iPhone happily displays the previous purchase page while the iPad 3 does not. I have yet to check my iPad 2...

    My payment method is up to date. This certainly appears to be a bug. I don't believe it is anything we can solve. I have emailed the tech person who advised me about the connection issue and gave me her contact info for future issues. She has not yet responded. Frankly,  I will be surprised if she does.

    Same problem, it's happening to two of my ipads (iPad 1 and iPad 3) which have different itunes accounts. When is apple going to fix this?

    I can see there has been many people responding to my original post regarding this matter.

     

    I posted a while back saying that I no longer had this issue. I checked today and still seems to be working fine.

     

    I resolved it by signing out of the app store via the settings. I didn't think it would work because it is so obvious. But it did resolve my issue. My purchased apps were not showing up under the purchased Tab on both iPhone 4 and iPad2. .

     

    I went to Settings >> Store >> Apple ID then I signed out COMPLETELY and then signed back in from Settings >> Store >> and then checked the purchased section again and they all showed up again.

     

    I this may not resolve everyone's issue but if you HAVE NOT done the above steps yet, I would recommend doing so and seeing if it helps.
