Q: my cellular data network is missing on my iphone i need help

pls help me  my  cellular data network in my iphone 4s is missing thats why i cannot  connect in the  internet when im not  at home with my wifi

iPhone 4S, iOS 5.1.1

    What do you mean when you say 'it is missing'?

     

    Do you subscribe to a data plan?

    i mean  the cellular data network didnt  appear  in my   settings

    settings>general>network      then i  only  see   the  enable 3g on/off

    cellular data on/off   when  i  on  the cellular data the data roaming appears

    im  looking  in my  cellular data network to acccess the  apn coz i cannot used my

    internet connection without wifi  im using prepaid not data plan and i contact the carrier

    and  they  say   that i need to see the CELLULAR DATA NETWORK in network settings

    coz i  need to configure the apn i dont know why my cellular data network didnt appear

    i try to  reset all settings-no luck:(

    erase and reset all data and settings-no luck:(

    reset netwrok settings-no luck:(

     

    pls help me

    If you're using an unsupported carrier, you will have to work it out with them.

    my phone  is  locked  in that carrier  and  im not  allowed  to  use other carrier  now  im   try    to  restore  again

    If you are using a carrier locked phone with the carrier it is locked to, there is no need to change any settings on the phone. All of the settings for ALL supported carriers are already in the phone.

     

    If the data network is not working correctly, they do not have something provisioned correctly on your account.

    they tell me that my  phone have  a   cellular data  network  but it  really  dont   appear  in  my  setting  i can see  only  the  cellular data on/off

    Yes... that's how you turn it on and off. If it's on and you subscribe to a data plan, then you are on the cellular data network.

     

    What did you expect to see?

    im not using a data plan  only prepaid they tell te  to  find  the  cellular data network to fix my apn settings coz in my  phone signal bar its also dont have a  3g

    If you do not have a data plan, you can't get cellular data. What did oyu expect to happen? You don't magically get service you're not paying for.

     

    You can not have cellular data unless you pay for it.

    Hey, I've the same problem in my iPhone 4s, cellular data, data roaming and also show personal hotspot, but missing cellular data network, that's why I can't use or setting other network.

    So finally how did u solve it? can u help me plz...
