I have a sony DCR-SR85 and when it imports video to iMovie there is no sound.

iMovie recognizes the camcorder and imports the videos nicely there is just no audio, is there a solution of this or should I just throw away the camcorder?

iMovie '11, Mac OS X (10.7.4)
