An iphone that has an international Warranty is not covered in India.....the problem is apple doesnt do anything to solve this problem...and if a person has a hardware problem his handset would not be replaced even if it holds an international warranty??

I am constantly amazed by people who say "Apple told me..." "AT&T said..." " British gas assured me that..." when the truth is they were speaking to some oik in a call center.

AND where is that call centre 😕...............................lol

Read, as is usual with such legal documents, "may" as "will".

Who said apple iphone has international warranty ?

I STRONGLY agree & I have the same ******* problem in India. They are refusing to honor my international warranty & I am a customer since iPhone 2G.

You should have purchased in India if that is where you reside

Then why the **** was I informed about the warranty covered any where?

Not sure what you are going on about.

The iphone warranty has NEVER been international. Never.

It is NOT international at all.

The warranty is ONLY good in the original country of purchase.

Very sorry you have been misinformed or that you misunderstood, but there is NO internatioanal warranty on the iphone.

my problem is a wee bit different .

I bought an Iphone 4S from india,mumbai to be specific & after 2 months all of a sudden my phone has a wifi hardware issue !!! When i went to the apple authorized service center they refused to help me out at all saying that my phone's serial number was that of Hong Kong's so they won't service it & told me to call the toll free customer care . The customer care guys asked for my IMEI & said that the phone was bought in India & not Hong Kong & they have no idea why the service center declined & that my phone would be replaced but the service center still refuses to help me out .....what am i supposed to do ???

Where exactly did you buy it? If you didn't buy it from Aircel, or Airtel (or thier authorized agents), then you purchased a gray market iPhone that probably did come from another country.

The problem in India is that they don't have a direct apple store, all the stores in India are not apple stored but selling apple products &amp; hence they can't do anything if the product is international.

It's so FFk frustrating. I have the sand problem. I will buy Samsung &amp; not Iphone 5. My 4S is screwed &amp; I have to take it back to USA...

I think you have lost your mind &amp; jobless. He is talking about international warranty which means the phone is purchased outside India. Read first &amp; then reply plus make sure you get your glasses.

There IS NO INTERNATIONAL WARRANTY ON THE IPHONE! How many times do you have to be told this?
