My fiancé was given an iPhone 4S to use as his work phone and he already has an iPhone 4. He wants to be able to forward all incoming calls and text messages to the new 4S. I've already set up the call forwarding, but can't figure out how to forward text messages. I know how to forward a single text message, but he'd like to have all incoming texts going straight to the new phone. Is that even possible?

I discovered that if you use your Apple ID on both phones, those texts do show up on both. Before I set up the Apple ID in my Messages settings, I noticed my phone number in the "Received At' field was blue, as if I could change it. Once I added my Apple ID it became greyed out. When I signed out of my Apple ID, the number remained greyed out. On both my fiancé's phones it's also greyed out. I wonder if changing to iMessages permanently removes the ability to receive texts at a different number.
Only iMessages sent to the AppleID (as opposed to the phone number) will show up on both. SMS messages from non-iOS devices will not show up on both.
