fsmpm error in log file

I have been getting the following erros in my sysem log and yet nothing seems to be wrong with access to my Xsan violumes. All work stations and remote users are not reporting any problems. This is from the file server machine, not the primary or secondary MDCs. Any ideas on what might be causing this and what to do about it?

The Node Status Server (part of fsmpm) is having trouble communicating. "This daemon monitors the health of the communication network and the File System Services." (from cvfs_failover man page) I don't know what the message types are, but one might guess the "55" on the end is an errno: ENOBUFS - No buffer space available.

Low memory on that system? Doing other network based services than just Xsan?
