Q: Delete Apple Community Discussions?

Hello, I am wondering how you can delete any discussions that I have created on the Apple Community website? They are embarrising to me because I keep moaning about technology alot, so I wanted to delete my rants from here but I don't know how. Also I seems to get abit looked down on by people twice my age who know ALOT about Apple XD (Yea i'm a nooby teenage girl) so it would be good to delete them. Thanks x

    Hucy94,

Don't feel down.  I thought I was very positive towards you, at least that was the intention.   And as Roger says your posts will quickly disappear into obscurity.

    Hucy --

As Roger and my good friend severnty one have said, don't worry about it.  Just whenever you want to come back for more help, just bring your sweet attitude with you,and you will be very fine.  People rarely remember individuals here -- only after many months of regular posting.  So let it go, dear.  And enjoy your future times here.

Just edit the post by deleting your comments and change the title to something like DELETE THIS POST and repeat same in body.

    Been there, done that.

Want to be able to delete my posts. They are my property - regardless of what Apple thinks.

You do realise that you can't edit a post after 15 minutes? And that the thread you've answered in is months old?

    Humm,

8 months ago as it was pointed out the Original Poster made it very clear she (she admitted to being a girl) wanted to delete some older posts she had made.

Despite your post having correct an potentially helpful information it bears little relevance to the Original Question.

It also made no reference to being an Alternative that might be useful on future occasions.

Therefore Roger Wilmut1's post asking if you were aware of all the circumstances seems relevant and not in need of a rant type reply.

I am subscribed to this post as I made a previous reply to it.

Many other people who were in the thread can also read the new posts.

A day or so, probably. They won't exactly disappear, but people would have to dig for them and they've no incentive to do that.

Just an observation here: Seems like a waste to keep old posts lingering around.  It's too bad there isn't a "delete," link, then Apple discussion forums would have way more space, instead of it being like an expanding universe. JMO.  -Della
