Jun 24, 2012 1:34 AM in response to MarkSheridan7by Jim2784,I've got exactly the same problem as everyone else again glad it's not me while annoying there are ways round it by cancelling the option and then trying again later.
I've also paid near on £500 and while annoying can appreciate the situation and this isnt hindering my use what so ever so people saying about compensatition just give them a bit of time as I would rather they get it correct first time instead of rushing

Jun 24, 2012 3:53 AM in response to Jaythacby Neonerve,Jim... I get what you are saying but the horrible truth is that being nice and forgiving unfortunately doesn't get things done quicker and lets face it, we are talking about 1 line of code that a well paid programmer needed to fix on a weekend....
Anyways.... It works now. Yeah
I can actually start proving to he folks why they should get one

Sep 25, 2012 2:21 AM in response to p92by gerardjp,It works!! ... Download one item in the itunes store. Choosing the 3 Q's there works as it should. There seems to be a bug when it's done via the appstore.
Great.
Regards,
Gerard.

Sep 25, 2012 4:05 AM in response to gerardjpby eligosol,The problem lies in the alternate e-mail address. When providing one - you have to verify this.
This is what I did:
1. Used iTunes store on my Mac
2.Bought a song
3.Selected 3 Questions
4.Provided alternate e-mail
... then I got a warning that my account was not available, but received an e-mail from iTunes about Verifying my e-mail info
5.Verified my e-mail
6. Went back to iTunes and finished buying and downloading the song.
Hope this helps.

Sep 25, 2012 6:53 AM in response to badgerchowby xxxinkxxx,After trying many solutions I finally managed to solve this issue.
1. Go to appleid.apple.com and log in
2. Under name, ID, and email address check if you have have an alternate email address
3. Delete your alternate email addresses
4. Save changes
You should be able to download your apps now.

Sep 25, 2012 9:39 AM in response to xxxinkxxxby Rlskipp,No joy here. Still not working. I don't understand how the alternate email address would make a difference. But I went and did what was suggested here. Deleted one address, added another. Received the verification notice, verified, all seems well with the Apple ID.
I did this on the iMac. Would that make a difference? Anyway, later I tried to access the store on the iPad, and still have the three questions to answer. Answered them and at the end of it all the dreaded "Session timed out" message came up.
