Jun 25, 2012 4:52 AM in response to rob_mu330by kcoakley,Hi Rob,
That's been my experience as well. I sat in on one of the Course Manager webinars Apple provides for free and they were pretty explicit in stating that it is not currently iOS compatible. This hasn't been a problem for me so I haven't tested an alternative browser.
Good luck,
Ken

Mar 18, 2013 9:43 AM in response to kcoakleyby PSBTerp,Thanks for this. You have saved me a lot of hunting. This is a strange set-up - so I have to use a Mac or PC to use course manager and create the coure, but an ipad to see the results. Odd. Don't tell my management; they sprung for the ipad so I could work on our iTunes U offerings. thanks, RPT

Mar 21, 2013 6:16 AM in response to PSBTerpby MacEnstein,Even though you cannot access the Course Manager through the iPad, the iPad is still a valuable tool for previewing Courses using the IOS app, and to view your iTunes U site. What's odd is that I have been able to use the Safari browser on iPad to access the Public Site Manager tool for administering the overall site.

Aug 20, 2013 3:52 PM in response to rob_mu330by 01eg,Hello rob_mu330,
You can not access iTunes U course manager from your iPad b/c it's not supported. But there is a workaround which partially works. All you need to do is - install free browser like Mercury or Dolphin and change user agent to Safari (Mac OSX). This way the Course Manager will think that you are using a desktop browser, not a mobile device. You can edit text, but you cannot approve an enrollments. I think this is b/c zoom is disabled. I didn't find the way around it yet... And this is bugging me a lot. I do not always have my MacBook and I can't approve student from iPad.
