why do I see "this video is currently unavailable" in youtube?

I just bought the New Macbook Pro 15" with Retna display and when I go to Youtube, most of the video's will not play and I see a message that reads: "this video is currently unavailable".

Is this a Mac issue with my settings or does the new Mac Book Pro not support video content from Youtube? That serisouly can't be the problem. But I'm lost.

There seems to be some problems with the new MBP-R's and the Adobe Flash Player plug-in when used with Safari. Apparently, the videos will play with Firefox, but the video does not 'look good' according to some. It could be a Safari problem, it could be a Flash Player problem - I don't think anyone's narrowed it down thus far. Try downloading Firefox - you'll likely to be able to play the videos, but they may not look too hot.

Ah - yes, Flash Player is ubiquitous, but many people hate it. Just be certain that you have your prefs checked so that it will only download from Adobe Systems (not some third-party). And Firefox is, in my opinion, the vest browser for the Mac (or Windows, for that matter). Be sure and also download the "PDF Browser Plug-in 2.4.4" if you want to view pdf documents in a browser window. Adobe's pdf inline browser plug-in just doesn't work so well in many browsers.

Good luck,
