Q: Hdmi connection

I have just bought apple tv third gen. Connected to one tv no problem. Unplugged and connected to upstairs tv nothing same connection as the one downstairs but all I gets a blue screen . any ideas? ( unplugged the box and reconnected downstairs great pic so it ain't he connectors. Tried on a third tv same problem? HELP

Probably incompatiblity with the other TVs.

...listing models etc - do they support 720p/1080p?

From memory you may be able to cycle through resolution on ATV3 holding menu button and up arrow on remote for 6 secs.

If downstairs TV is 1080p and AppleTV set for that, it may choke connecting to a lower res TV until resolution set correctly.
