how can I convert a slideshow from iPhoto to play on a windows pc

Export it from iPhoto. This process will make a QuickTime movie of it. That will play on an PC that has QuickTime installed - and that's a free download for PC, and comes with iTunes for PC

1 - select photos

2 - click on share ==> slideshow

3 - click on export in the middle of the bottom of the screen and save the slideshow to disk
