Welcome to the Apple Community.

You might try to see if you can change your security questions. Start here, change your country if necessary and go to manage your account > Password and Security.

I'm able to do this, others say they need to input answers to their current security questions in order to make changes, I'm inclined to think its worth a try, you don't have anything to lose.

If that doesn't help you might try contacting Apple through Express Lane (select your country, navigate to iCloud help and enter the serial number of one of your devices)

Doesn't help for me, either, 'Winston' - when I come back to my security questions, I have the same blanks to fill in. As the other poster said, after years of having an Apple ID, (I'd bet...) a lot of us do not remember the EXACT wording on our questions (and Apple's computers expect/demand that same, identical, word-for-word and character-for-character answer). Get your answer off from the original by one punctuation mark or character, and you're out of luck! Or else you can pay Apple for Express Lane help, of course... :-P

If you don't have a rescue email address then you will need to contact iTunes Support or Apple to get them reset.

e.g. you can try contacting iTunes Support : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Account Management , and then 'Forgotten Apple ID security questions'

or try ringing Apple in your country and ask to talk to the Accounts Security Team : http://support.apple.com/kb/HE57

When they've been reset you can then add a rescue email address for potential future use : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5312

When I click on the "Password and Security" all I get is the option to change my password - NO reset pasword choice, NO security questions at all(!)...

YMMV, but it doesn't work for my system (running Snow Leopard 10.6.8 as my primary partition on my MBP's internal drive).

Guess Apple has a different page for ML than for SL?

Sorry, your suggestion doesn't help, no matter how many points you show...

What page are you referring to as my post didn't mention a 'Password and Security' section ? If you mean this page, http://applied.apple.com, then you've logged into your account via the Manage Your Apple Id button, and selected the Password and Security' section on the left-hand side of that page and on the right-hand side you don't get something like :

Or do you mean that you using the contact iTunes Support page ? The options that appear on that page may vary depending upon what country that you are in.

King_Penguin - the iTunes Support page that I see when I clicked on the link you gave, has *no* righthand column, only left-hand (maybe because I'm on the other side of the pond?).

I mentioned clicking on the Passwords & Security page, because that was the only choice on the Apple Support page (as I see it rendered in Firefox) that looked like it was related to the security questions (security, y'know...). Other than by signing in using my AppleID, how would I get the popup window that your 'answer' showed? Or are you seeing different pages in the UK, perhaps?

What I see when I sign in, only shows as possibly-related choices, the "Passwords & Security" one. And when I go there, I see NO security questions. So maybe for those of us in the USA, we need a local Apple Support link... (Because otherwise I don't see another choice by going in through signing in under my AppleID - which I would think, should be what is needed if I'm going to try to change anything related to my AppleID).

Only other possibility that comes to mind is, whether the page is rendered differently under the combination of OS X 10.6.8 and Firefox vs. whatever browser and OS X version you're using, perhaps.

Not getting much help so far.

The support link that I gave in my first post, http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ , when I go to that page on Firefox (version 23) on a Mac (running OS X 10.8.5, I get the same on Safari) is (by default it is seeing my location as US) :

And clicking on the blue 'contact iTunes Store support' in the middle of that screen I get :

With the Password & Security Questions giving me :
