i forgot the answers to security questions

Well you should have put something in you would remember. That is why they are there, to protect your account from unauthorized use.

Yeah KC, you are absolutely correct that we forgetful ppl should have put something we would remember but why bother rubbing salt on the wound when u do not have a proper answer?! I too was clumsy and did not write my answers down . I would appreciate a solution and yes I have contacted apple support but still awaiting reply. Anyone with a sound solution, pls post! Thank you;)

Click "Manage My Account", sign in, and go to the Password and Security section. If you've forgotten your answers, there will be a link just under the security questions fields where you can have a reset email send to your Rescue email address.

I don't want tp rescue my email address, I want to reset my security questions. This appears to be impossible. Maybe the answer is to start a whole new Apple account ? HELP !!!

there is no reset butto... I have the same problem on my new ipad...emailed apple 5 days ago and no reply !!!!

There is now way to change change the security question answers and appears no one is working on it!!

uggggh. you're no help either! I'm not seeing anything about a "rescue email" or "reset".

So stupid questions... I could't find one suitable....

They just found a solution to reseting security questons, so if you contact apple support, they should get you someone who can reset it for you. I have the same problem, and have been emailing apple.

Go to https://appleid.apple.com/

and choose your language, country, then sign in (if you remember your password).

Under edit your Apple id (links), choose the second thing, Password and security. There ask to reset the security questions. They will send you (at the given email adress) a reset link. Follow the link, change the questions and answers, confirm by giving your birthdate.

I don't have this problem, just wanted to tell everybody that the questions are stupid. I had to invent some answers. Dream job? Bof, many and not just one. Pet? did I have one? Preferred teacher? I didn't like any... Nickname at school? I didn't have... so on...

I prefer sites that let me invent also the question.

Absolutely agree to your post! I'm even sure that I answered my security questions correct but the system never accepted them. Now I have to wait for 8hours. However, thanks for your instructions how to reset this!
