Jun 23, 2012 4:44 PM in response to Joshinkyby lllaass,That is because you are trying to draw too much power from the iPad. What are you connecting to?
If a camera, is the camera on and the battery fully charged?

Jun 23, 2012 5:03 PM in response to Joshinkyby deggie,Yes, but cameras in general do not try to pull power from the iPad when you connect it, your HTC is doing so. Is there a way you can connect it to power while it is connected to the CCK.

Jun 23, 2012 5:44 PM in response to Joshinkyby Texas Mac Man,The camera connection kit is designed to import photos/videos from a camera, a camera SD card, and a USB thumb drive.
Why do you need to connect the iPhone? If to transfer photos/videos, see below.
Copy Photos Between iOS Devices

Jul 13, 2012 4:51 AM in response to jopalmseaby Michiganfan66,I have a Nikon d90 and I just take my sd card out and put it in the camera connector kit...I haven't had any problems like that. If I put my flash drive in the camera connector though it says it draws too much power.

Aug 22, 2012 1:47 PM in response to Joshinkyby Jamesgrandma,I'm having same problems. If I connect my blackberry it says it uses too much power. If I take sd card out of phone and connect that way I get the same message. The leaflet with the connector says go to Apple.com/support/iPad to find list of compatible cameras.......... I'm still trawling the site to find any such list! Just need to know if it will work with a blackberry ..... If not I've got to take it back. Have been advised by a friend to cut my losses get my money back and use Bump to transfer my pics. I don't own a traditional camera because my phone has a great one. Really don't want to have to carry a camera about with me! They don't make it easy do they!
