I was wondering if someone here could verify that the new Retina Macbook Pro will work with Nvidia 3D Vision in bootcamp with an external display.
The Nvidia GeForce 650m chip definately supports the feature, but I haven't been able to find anyone thats actually tested it out, either with HDMI or Thunderbolt to dual link DVI.

Interested in both (this computer and the capacity of 3D vision), I tested it in bootcamp with a compatible 3D Vision external display : it full work with games and movies.
I want to know how do you manage to watch 3D movies? I have Sony HX750. Do I need to install Windows and use PowerDVD or alike? Or are there any 3D player available for Mac?
Mine is Macbook pro 15 with retina display. I also want to use the internal Nvidia 650M instead of Intel HD card.

There is a 3D player available : Bino (Mac or Windows)
It work on Moutain Lion with an ACER GR235H (passive Glasses)
This player allow various IN/OUT configurations. For exemple It can show an alternate left/right image but on Mac I don't know if a 120Hz refresh rate display is well managed by drivers...
Everything depends on the type of 3D (active or passive) used. Passive one is OK on Mac, it's all that I know.
Thanks. I want to watch active 3D movies, so Bino is not my choice (I don't think it support the active 3D format). So I use boot camp to install Windows 7, updating the Nvidia driver to the latest one (310.xx), and using TotalMedia Theatre 3D player. With Sony HX 750 and its active glasses, I can watch "Avatar" at last.
